In Memoriam
Marlenys’s battle with cancer ended in September 2019, before she could complete her Master of Fine Arts degree. In March 2022, she was awarded an Honorary In Memoriam Degree from the University of Central Florida, in recognition of all she accomplished during her time in the program.
